Material & Finishings
Two stainless steel plates manufactured in watch industry standards and a central eloxed aluminum main body for better heat dissipation set the units apart from standard portable music players. The front and rear stainless steel plates have a satin or brushed finishing to give the player a rugged or elegant look to make this hardware feel like something beyond just music.

Manufacturing
The outer casing of the players is hand finished just like a luxury watch case. For the final finishing there is no choice but to do the final touches by hand. Unlike most comercial players the electronics are not simply stuck behind a screen and pushed in. Due to the restricted size and limited space the player’s manufacturing requires expert hands to assemble.

The current hardware of the SIROCCO has been conceived to go beyond its current capabilities that will be unlocked in future firmware upgrades. Rest assured that there will be no “mk2” versions of these players for years to come. With the MISTRAL and SIROCCO it was our goal to create a standalone product that could only be improved by fine-tuning and adding features through firmware upgrades.
